Children's skin Health & wellbeing

When your child is struggling with itchy, irritated skin, disrupted sleep and unsettled days, it can affect the whole family.

As a Registered Nurse and registered Health Visitor, I’m passionate about looking beyond the skin itself and supporting the health and wellbeing of the whole family.

looking at the bigger picture

From six months, when solid foods are introduced, nutrition becomes another important part of the conversation.

Could nutrition be part of the bigger picture?

Modern food production, farming practices and changing dietary patterns can influence the nutritional composition of our diets. Even with the best intentions, it can be challenging for parents to feel confident that their children are getting everything they need.

My interest lies in cellular wellness, including the role essential fatty acids play in normal cell function and the body’s inflammatory processes.

I offer education and guidance to help families understand their nutritional needs and explore appropriate, clinically sound, evidence-informed supplementation where beneficial. This can sit alongside topical treatments and medical care recommended by your GP or dermatologist, never instead of them.

My aim is to help families look at the bigger picture, make informed choices and support their child’s overall health and wellbeing.

How to get started

Book a children’s skin consultation. Face-to-face appointments are preferred, as they allow me to observe and assess your child’s skin in person.

Virtual consultations are also available. To arrange one, please contact Danielle directly on 07583 647 785.

A holistic, family-centred approach that considers the child as a whole, not just the skin.
